Among the many clans in the Tharu caste, the Maijh clan is as vast or well-known as the ocean. Descendants of this Maijh clan have settled in six districts of Nepal, Siraha, Saptari, Udaypur, Sunsari, Morang,Bhaktapur and Jhapa in a significant and orderly manner. On the advice or initiative of Tetaru Chaudhury, the first Diyadi conference was held at Hadiya in

Udaypur district on 22/07/2053 under the chairmanship of late Chhengal Chaudhury in Jandol village of Saptari district. At the conference, Dr. Mr. Satya Narayan Chaudhary made a genealogy book and also modified the names of daughters, sisters or wives and established the Diyadi Utthan Kosh. Then on 14/07/2059 at Sakhuwa village of Saptari district the fourth conference was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Ramgulam Chaudhary and the chief guest was Mr. Dev Narayan Chaudhary of the best generation.  The conference unanimously elected Mr. Tetru Chaudhary as the national president of the main committee and Rukmadevi Chaudhary as the president of the women's committee. According to the statistics of the conference, there are a total of 102 households and 13 permanent or 13 temporary employees. .
